Tour Itinerary |
Day 1
PIGEON FORGE, TN • TITANIC • NEW
YEARS EVE CELEBRATION:
Today we
travel into the Great Smoky Mountains
of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Upon arrival,
we’ll enjoy an exclusive private
lunch on the Titanic’s third deck with
either John Joslyn or Mary Kellogg-Joslyn,
the owners of the Titanic Museum.
A character from the Titanic Museum’s
cast will mingle with us, sharing stories of
the RMS Titanic, a British passenger liner
that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean
on April 15, 1912, after colliding with an
iceberg during her maiden voyage from
Southampton, UK, to New York City, US.
We’ll be equipped with an audio device
that will take us on a journey surrounded
by more than 400 artifacts directly from
the ship. Our tour allows us to experience
what it must have been like to walk the
hallways, parlors,
cabins and Grand Staircase of the Titanic. We check into
our hotel to rest and prepare for our New
Years Eve Celebration. Tonight, we take
our seats at the Smoky Mountain Opry
for their spectacular Christmas show.
Comparable to a Broadway show, this
is a fantastic production with a manger
scene, flying angels, ice skaters on stage,
a rare white lion and much more that will
amaze you. We’ll watch a live feed of
the Times Square ball drop in New York
City, as we ring in the New Year, complete
with party favors, a live band and
dancing. (L)
