Day 1
VIRGINIA • MARYLAND:
New York
City isn’t the center of the universe
on any map you’ll find, but ask any New
Yorker, and he’ll tell you that’s exactly
where it is! What an incredible city. No
other city has quite the style or atmosphere
of the Big Apple. Early today we
board our Prevost deluxe motorcoach for
a comfortable ride through Virginia and
into Maryland for our first overnight stop.

Day 2
TOP OF THE ROCK • BROADWAY
SHOW:
Noon today will find us in
Manhattan, the heart of New York City!
Today we’ll admire the city from high
above with a visit to the Top of the Rock
Observation Deck in Rockefeller Center.
We enjoy a stunning view of the city from
70 stories up. We check into our theater
district hotel near Times Square for a
three night stay. Tonight we have tickets
for an exciting Broadway performance!

Day 3
NEW YORK CITY TOUR & LUNCH
• 9/11 MEMORIAL & MUSEUM:
This
morning we are joined by a local guide
for a fascinating tour of New York City.
See the famous west side of Central
Park, where many celebrities, actors
and television personalities have made
their homes. A drive down world famous
Fifth Avenue takes us past the Plaza Hotel,
FAO Schwarz, Saks, and other fine
stores. See St. Patrick’s Cathedral and
pass Rockefeller Center as we make
our way south to the older part of the
island. We’ll drive through the Financial
District, the home of Wall Street and the
Commodities Exchange before we make
our way back to Central Park. Lunch is
included today in Little Italy. We visit the
9/11 Memorial as we honor the lives that
were lost that day and pay tribute to the
heroes. We visit the ntewly opened museum
where we’ll see authentic artifacts
helping us understand what happened
on 9/11, how people responded after the
attack, and the history of the rebuilding
of the World Trade Center. The remainder
of the day is free for you to explore
more of New York. (July 4: This evening
you will have the opportunity to go on
your own to enjoy the fireworks at your
leisure.) (L)

Day 4
STATUE OF LIBERTY • ELLIS ISLAND
• OPTIONAL BROADWAY
SHOW:
Our sightseeing begins early this
morning with a boat ride to the Statue of
Liberty. The latest addition to Liberty National
Park is the Immigration Museum at
Ellis Island. Catch the next ferry from the
Statue over to Ellis Island and see where
more than 14 million immigrants came
into the United States in search of the
American dream. This evening, we have
time to explore the city. Tonight you have
the option to join us for another Broadway
show. The name of the show will be
available 30 days prior to departure. We
must know by this time if you would like
this option. Price approximately $120 per
person.

Day 5
MORNING FREE • SHOPPING • RADIO
CITY MUSIC HALL STAGE
DOOR TOUR • MARYLAND:
For you
early risers, you might want to be in the
audience of one of the morning shows.
You have this morning for one of New
York City’s most exciting attractions:
shopping! New York is, without a doubt,
a showcase for the world’s merchandise.
We take the Radio City Stage Door
Tour which allows us an insider's look
of Radio City Music Hall. We'll meet a
Rockette, learn the secrets of the Great
Stage, discover art deco masterpieces,
and much more! This afternoon we leave
the big city behind, returning to Maryland
for our overnight stay.

Day 6
HOME:
Only now can we understand
why New York City is the world’s number
one attraction! It seems that there’s
just no end to the sights or the excitement
of New York. We have just sampled
New York, but we’ll be back. If you’d like
to return to the city at Christmas, join us
for a tour to the Macy’s Parade or on our
New York Christmas Shopping Spree.
Now we must be on our way back to
North Carolina, arriving late in the afternoon.
