Day 1

FLIGHT TO SEATTLE • DINNER:

This morning we travel to Seattle. Upon our arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel. If time permits, we will take a riding tour of downtown Seattle. Tonight you will be our guest for a welcome dinner. (D)
Day 2

VANCOUVER • HARBOR CENTER OBSERVATION DECK • STANLEY PARK • DINNER:

This morning we depart Seattle and make our way across the border to Vancouver, British Columbia. We’ll stop at the Harbor Center observation deck which offers spectacular views of the city and surrounding areas. This afternoon we experience the splendor of Vancouver with a sightseeing tour that includes beautiful Stanley Park, an urban rainforest that juts out into the sea. We also visit the waterfront area and Chinatown, one of North America’s largest. Here quaint shops display jade, ivory, silk, bamboo, brocade and food items. We spend the next two nights in the Vancouver area. (D)
Day 3

FERRY TO VICTORIA • VICTORIA SIGHTSEEING • BUTCHART GARDENS • VANCOUVER:

We depart early this morning for the ferry to Vancouver Island and British Columbia’s capital city of Victoria. We explore the city of Victoria, the “City of Gardens.” This afternoon we visit beautiful Butchart Gardens which features a variety of lovely floral displays. Later this afternoon we board the ferry back to Vancouver.
Day 4

CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE • WHISTLER • KAMLOOPS:

A spectacular day of sightseeing awaits us today as we leave Vancouver. This morning we visit the incredible Capilano Suspension Bridge for a breathtaking view of west coast nature at its best. We make our way through some incredible scenery on our way to the ski resort village of Whistler where we have time to sightsee and enjoy lunch. This afternoon it’s more beautiful scenery as we travel to Kamloops for the evening.
Day 5

JASPER • DINNER:

Leaving Kamloops our route takes us through the fertile Fraser Valley. We are surrounded by dramatic scenery as we follow the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. We view Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 meters (12,972 feet), and through the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Then it is on to Jasper where our overnight accommodations await us. Dinner is included this evening at a nearby restaurant. (D)
Day 6

ATHABASCA FALLS • COLUMBIA ICEFIELDS SNOWCOACH • LAKE LOUISE • BANFF:

This morning we travel along the Icefields Parkway, one of the most spectacular drives in the world. You will marvel at the towering snowcapped peaks, azure lakes, thundering waterfalls, and hanging glaciers. You may even spot wildlife. We’ll visit Athabasca Falls, one of the most powerful and breathtaking falls in the Rocky Mountains. At the Columbia Icefield we board a Snow Coach Ice Explorer for a ride on the enormous Athabasca Glacier. Our next stop is Lake Louise, one of the most photographed spots in the world. Later this afternoon we arrive in the charming town of Banff where you will have free time to explore and have dinner on your own.
Day 7

BREAKFAST AT BANFF SPRINGS HOTEL • BANFF GONDOLA • HIGHWAY 93 • KALISPELL:

We enjoy a leisurely morning as we visit the Banff Springs Hotel and feast on their bountiful buffet breakfast. Next take the Sulphur Mountain Gondola Lift to the top of the mountain for majestic views. Our route today takes us along highway 93, the north–south route through British Columbia to the US Border. We travel through the Vermilion Pass and Kootenay National Park, passing Radium Hot Springs, Invermere, Windermere and Fairmont Hot Springs. Windermere Lake, Columbia Lake, and the Kootenay River, border us as we travel this beautiful scenic highway. Late this afternoon we arrive in Kalispell for a two night stay. (B)
Day 8

GLACIER NATIONAL PARK • “GOING-TO-THE-SUN” • DINNER:

This morning you may take your time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Today we explore Glacier National Park which preserves over one million acres of forests, alpine meadows and lakes, and is home to over 70 species of mammals and 270 species of birds. We board one of the famous Jammer cars for the “Going-to-the-Sun” Road to the top of the Continental Divide at Logan Pass. After our tour we return to Kalispell for dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 9

FLIGHT HOME:

This morning in Kalispell, Montana, we board our plane for our return flight home.
