FLIGHT TO CAIRO:
Today, join us as
we travel to airport for our overnight
transatlantic flight to Egypt, beginning
a journey filled with ancient wonders,
iconic monuments, and vibrant culture.
Day 2
CAIRO, EGYPT:
We arrive in Cairo,
Egypt’s bustling capital, and are
greeted and then transferred to our
hotel. Rest up this evening and prepare
for tomorrow’s journey into Egypt’s
ancient treasures and the start of our
Nile cruise. You are going to be thrilled
with the many treasures that are to
come on this incredible journey.
Day 3
FLY TO LUXOR • 4 NIGHT NILE
CRUISE • LUXOR MUSEUM •
KARNAK TEMPLE SOUND & LIGHT
SHOW:
This morning, we meet our
travel director and return to the airport
for our flight to Luxor. Here, we visit
the Temple of Amun and the Avenue
of the Sphinxes, exploring the remnants
of ancient Thebes. We board our ship,
in time for lunch, to begin a 4-night
Nile cruise aboard your luxurious 5
star ship. All cabins are outside (above
the water level). After lunch aboard
the cruise, we visit the Luxor Museum,
where Egypt’s treasures bring history
to life. This evening, we visit Karnak
Temple, an open air museum, as you
discover the secrets behind the temple’s
ancient name and explore its significant
monuments on this walking sound
and light tour, listening to stories about
the ancient kings and queens as they
echo through the Temple. (B, L, D)
Day 4
VALLEY OF THE KINGS • GRAND
TEMPLE OF LUXOR • BE MY GUEST
WITH LOCALS:
Today, we explore the
Valley of the Kings on the west bank of
the Nile, the final resting place of Egypt’s
Pharaohs, and visit the mortuary temple
of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari
and the Colossi of Memnon. We see
the Grand Temple of Luxor on the east
bank, a centerpiece of ancient religious
life. In the afternoon, the El Boerey
family welcomes us for an exclusive Be
My Guest encounter, where we learn
about daily life in Luxor’s archaeological
paradise and taste mint tea with freshly
baked bread and honey. (B, L, D)
Day 5
TEMPLE OF KOM-OMBO:
We sail
upstream to Kom Ombo, where
life along the Nile has changed little
over the centuries, and visit the Temple
of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple
dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god,
and Horus the Elder, the falcon god.
As we explore its symmetrical design
and imagine visitors from centuries
past, you can connect with Egypt’s
ancient civilization. The day ends with
a traditional Egyptian dinner on our
cruise, enjoying the sunset over the
shimmering Nile and reflecting on the
legends of the past and the experiences

Day 6
KITCHENER’S ISLAND • ASWAN:
We sail on a traditional felucca,
a small wooden sailboat used for
centuries along the Nile, gliding past
the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener’s
Island. We explore the Aswan Dam,
visit the Temple of Isis, and see the
unfinished Obelisk, still partially carved
in solid granite. (B, L, D)
Day 7
DISEMBARK • ABU SIMBEL
ADVENTURE • CAIRO:
After
disembarking we fly to Abu Simbel,
home to the monumental Temple of
Ramses II with its four seated colossal
statues carved into the Nubian Valley.
As we approach the Great Temple, we
marvel at the colossi and the intricate
engravings depicting Ramses’ victories,
along with the statues of Queen
Nefertari on the facade of the Temple
of Hathor. In the afternoon, we fly back
to Cairo, reflecting on the grandeur
of these iconic monuments. We overnight
at the Ramses Hilton in Cairo,
for the next three nights. (B)
Day 8
CAIRO TOURING • BELLY DANCING,
DINNER & NILE CRUISE:
Today explore Cairo’s layered history,
taking in views of the Old Citadel before
stepping inside the Alabaster Mosque.
We visit the Hanging Church of St. Mary,
a landmark of Egypt’s Christian heritage,
then have free time for lunch. Later,
stand before Tutankhamun’s legendary
treasures with an Egyptologist, exploring
a vast collection of artifacts—from royal
treasures to everyday objects—that
reveal life in Egypt thousands of years
ago, including statues, jewelry, and
mummies. This evening, we step aboard
a luxury Nile cruise for dinner and a
captivating belly dancing show, taking
in the Nile River’s enchanting views. (B, D)
Day 9
GREAT PYRAMIDS OF GIZA:
Today, the Great Pyramids of Giza
beckon as we encounter its iconic
treasures—the Colossus of Ramses II,
the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, and the
enigmatic Great Sphinx. We then
witness the intricate art of Egyptian
carpet weaving at a local school, where
skilled artisans preserve traditional
methods on wooden looms using silk,
cotton, and natural dyes, creating
carpets that are true works of art. This
evening, we say our goodbyes and
prepare to depart this enchanted land
for our journey home tomorrow. (B)
Day 10
CAIRO • USA:
After breakfast,
we are transferred to the airport,
wrapping up an epic adventure across
Egypt’s legendary sites. From monumental
temples to the life of the Nile,
we depart with lasting memories and
remarkable experiences that make
Egypt a truly extraordinary
destination. (B)
