The Golden Isles of Georgia await us! One of Georgia’s barrier islands, Jekyll has miles of wide-open beaches, marshes teeming with life and gorgeous live oak trees draped in moss that offer unlimited photo opportunities. Our dinner is included tonight at a local restaurant. (D)

Jekyll Island has a fascinating history, and a tram tour is a great way to explore it. Known as Millionaire’s Island, it was once home to a hunting club frequented by wealthy families such as Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, Morgan, Pulitzer and more. We visit the exquisite Jekyll Island Club for a delicious lunch. Then we depart for St. Augustine, known as the oldest city in the US and frequently called the Ancient City. Our first stop is the historic Hotel Alcazar to visit Lightner Museum. Filled with an extraordinary collection of antique pieces from the Gilded Age, Lightner offers an experience in not only art but also architecture history and design. We have an included dinner at Raintree followed by a rousing performance of The Lives and Wives of Henry Flagler, the famous industrialist and founder of Standard Oil. Our hotel is located near St. Augustine for the next two nights. (L, D)

Enjoy the cool breeze from the Atlantic Ocean as we cruise around the beautiful waters of the Matanzas Bay and Intracoastal Waterway to view many of the city’s most popular highlights, including the St. Augustine Lighthouse, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the Bridge of Lions, Flagler College, and more. We focus on dolphin, wildlife and nature viewing on our hour-long cruise. Next is free time for shopping and lunch on our own in the historic downtown. On our trolley tour, your trolley storyteller makes nearly 500 years of history come to life! Another dinner is included tonight before settling down for the evening. (D)
