Today we board our deluxe Prevost motorcoach and begin traveling west into Tennessee for our exciting Missouri Star Great Adventure. Dinner will be included tonight at Catfish House, a local favorite, before we make our way to our hotel for the night. (D)

Eat a good breakfast because our day begins with shopping for bargains and treasures at Hancock Fabrics. Then, we stop by the National Quilt Museum to explore one of the world’s top quilt displays. Exhibiting quilts from around the world, the Museum is visited by over 115,000 quilt and art enthusiasts annually. Boasting of three galleries filled with extraordinary quilt and fiber art, the exhibits are rotated 7-8 times a year, ensuring there is always something new to see.

Today we travel on to St. Louis, MO for a stop at the Gateway Arch, the tallest man-made monument in the U.S. Riding the tram will provide an amazing view of the city as well as the mighty Mississippi River. On a clear day, our view will expand to 30 miles in every direction. So, have your cameras ready! Next, we climb back on the coach and travel on to Chillicothe, MO where we overnight for the next two nights.

We spend a full day exploring Quilt Town, USA with Missouri Star Quilt Company as our destination! A personal greeter will welcome us with a goodie bag and then get set to discover 16 incredible quilt shops, each with its own unique theme such as florals, reproductions, solids, Batik, Christmas, and more. A Missouri Star instructor will lead a class and present a trunk show featuring stunning quilts that are sure to inspire. We enjoy an included lunch. It’s the perfect quilting getaway! (L)

After breakfast, we drive over to Jamesport for a wonderful Amish lunch. Then we have time for some shopping as we make our way along the Hwy. 36 Quilt Trail. Tonight we overnight in Hannibal, Missouri. (L)

Take time to shop at a local quilt shop. Next, we visit Mark Twains boyhood home and museum, and see the house of his sweetheart Becky Thatcher. Our final night is near Louisville, Kentucky. Dinner is included before we check in. (D)

What a wonderful way to end our tour with a stop in Versailles at Irish Acres! Browsing through the gallery of antiques, we will find plenty of treasures to take home as souvenirs from this wonderful trip. Our included lunch will be at The Glitz, serving American fare in a fairy tale setting. We arrive home later this evening with so many memories and probably some beautiful keepsakes to remember this trip for years to come. (L)
