Day 1
CINCINNATI • BREWERS VS. REDS:
Today we depart from Christian Tours and begin our exciting Midwest Baseball Tour! Traveling through North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky, we make our way to Cincinnati, Ohio. This evening, we arrive at the ballpark for our first Major League Baseball experience of the trip as the Cincinnati Reds host the Milwaukee Brewers. Enjoy the energy of the crowd and the excitement of big-league baseball under the lights. After the game we check into our hotel for the night.
Day 2
NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE U.S. AIR FORCE • ASTROS VS. TIGERS:
This morning we visit the fascinating National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, the world’s largest military aviation museum. Explore historic aircraft, presidential planes, and exhibits showcasing the history of flight. Later this afternoon we continue to Detroit, Michigan where we enjoy another exciting Major League matchup as the Houston Astros take on the Detroit Tigers.
Day 3
COMERICA PARK TOUR • SOUTH BEND CUBS GAME:
This morning, we have a guided tour of Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers, offering a behind-the-scenes look at this impressive ballpark. Afterward we travel to South Bend, Indiana. This evening we attend a Minor League Baseball game as the South Bend Cubs, the High-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, take on the Quad Cities River Bandits. Your ticket includes a classic ballpark meal of a hot dog, chips, and a drink. The fun continues after the final out with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the night sky.
Day 4
NOTRE DAME UNIVERSITY • CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA • ROYALS VS. WHITE SOX:
Before leaving South Bend this morning, we enjoy a driving tour of the beautiful campus of the University of Notre Dame, known for its historic buildings, lakes, and the famous Golden Dome. We then travel to Chicago, Illinois where we enjoy a delicious lunch featuring Chicago’s famous deep-dish pizza. Later we head to the ballpark for an exciting Major League game featuring the Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Royals. After the game we check into our hotel for a three-night stay in the Chicago area. (L)
Day 5
WISCONSIN KRINGLE • MILWAUKEE • CUBS VS. BREWERS:
Today we travel north into Wisconsin. Our first stop is at the famous O&H Danish Bakery where we sample their delicious Kringle, a beloved Wisconsin pastry known for its flaky layers and sweet filling. We also stop to view the scenic Wind Point Lighthouse along the shores of Lake Michigan before continuing to Milwaukee. This afternoon we head to the ballpark for another exciting Major League showdown as the Milwaukee Brewers face their longtime rivals, the Chicago Cubs. After the game we enjoy an included dinner before returning to our Chicago hotel. (D)
Day 6
GUIDED CHICAGO TOUR • 360 CHICAGO OBSERVATION DECK • PADRES VS. CUBS:
This morning we enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Chicago, discovering many of the city’s most famous landmarks including impressive architecture, historic neighborhoods, and views of Lake Michigan. This afternoon we visit the spectacular 360 Chicago Observation Deck where you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline and lakefront from high above the Magnificent Mile. Early this evening we make our way to historic Wrigley Field to watch the Chicago Cubs take on the San Diego Padres in one of baseball’s most iconic ballparks.
Day 7
CLEVELAND • RANGERS VS. GUARDIANS:
Today we depart Chicago and travel to Cleveland, Ohio. We make our way to the ballpark for another exciting Major League matchup as the Cleveland Guardians face off against the Texas Rangers. Following the game, we check into our hotel for the evening.
Day 8
HOME:
After an exciting week filled with great baseball games and memorable sightseeing, we begin our journey home today. Sit back and relax as we travel back through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina, arriving home this evening with wonderful memories of our Midwest Baseball Tour.
